It's family owned for generations. Each employee is like a family member. I have been coming to this florist since I was a young child with my great grandmother, grandmother, mother, myself and now with my grown children. We won't shop anywhere else for our floral needs or for that one special gift of distinction.
I’ve been shopping at Moravian Florist & gift shop for many years. Everyone is extremely friendly & always very, very helpful with your entire shopping experience whether it’s shopping for gifts for family, friends, teachers or your own home for decorating all year or during Holiday Seasons, they’re also very helpful & caring during those more unfortunate times & they do everything possible to make funeral arrangements easier at that extremely difficult time. I personally prefer Roseanne to help me with all of my shopping needs but every single person there goes above & beyond to help you. I don’t shop anywhere else! Sue and her family make every one of their customers feel like Moravian Family. You’ll never be disappointed!
You name it they have it. The best florist I have ever seen. The nicest management and workers. Products are high class. It's not just a florist. It's an elite and elegant gift shop as well. Very clean and welcoming. The decor upon entering leaves you in awe.
Love this place. I always request flowers that are bit more "rustic" and loose, and I've never been disappointed. The arrangements are always beautiful, fresh and special, and the customer service is excellent. Tons of good quality holiday decorations at a fair price...good sales, too. I've not lived on SI for over 30 years, but going into the shop and talking to everyone that has worked there for years always makes it feel a bit like going home.
I travel 100 miles from upstate NY to do my floral shopping at this location as well as gift shopping. Each worker has become like family to me. It's nice to walk into a business and be greeted by each worker who passes you with a smile and a welcoming hello and ask if they can assist you with anything. Two thumbs up and two big toes up for this establishment. If you've never been here before and you're in the neighborhood, make it a must see.
I live in the mid-west, yet I was able to send a beautiful Poinsettia to our aunt's funeral. The customer service was excellent. They emailed me a picture of the arrangement before it was delivered to the funeral home. I feel like they cared, and took a personal interest in my order. This is a great florist, you can trust them to take care of your order.
The free candy near the register is always a treat while you're waiting on line.
Helpful, patient... most recently I did a phone order and when I saw the two arrangements I ordered, I couldn’t believe how beautiful they were ... it was beyond my expectations... and it was a fair price for the arrangements ...
